Wi-Fi Sensing Program

Build innovative solutions on Wi-Fi tech to unlock Smart Home’s true potential.

What is Wi-Fi Sensing about?

Wi-Fi Sensing is a technology which interprets Wi-Fi signals to detect motion and presence. When a person moves round their home, devices with Wi-Fi Sensing detects movements which are distorted by physical barriers (these can be provided by objects, but they can also be prompted by a person moving around the home). Our partner Origin has developed a software that analyzes these changes via Channel State Information (CSI) to evaluate what is moving and how it’s moving, enabling a variety of Wi-Fi Sensing use cases.

For this Deutsche Telekom has built a unique indoor testbed at hubraum in Berlin, which comes in handy here!

This is your opportunity to validate how Wi-Fi Sensing can be used to power and improve your services and/or apps on Telekom’s testbed. By getting an early evaluation of how your products work with Wi-Fi Sensing, you’ll get a head start on new business opportunities and tech know-how. Besides that, you’ll be able to tap into one of the networks of the leading digital telco and reach customers in a quick and secure manner.
